Admission Test and Enrollment Procedure

The admission test is a concise assessment designed to gauge a child’s proficiency across various subjects, typically fitting onto one to two pages, with each paper being scored out of 50 marks. These tests are tailored to suit the appropriate academic level for each grade and are evaluated based on established criteria. Only the designated invigilators are allowed to be present during the test to ensure a secure environment, and they are available to provide necessary guidance and support to the students.

Results from the admission tests are announced on the same day. Passing this test is a prerequisite for advancing to the interview stage. During the interview, both the child and their parents will meet with the School Head, and possibly other staff members, to discuss the student’s admission.

Upon successfully clearing both the admission test and the interview, parents will receive an admission fee invoice. This invoice must be paid at the school’s front office or the designated bank to finalize the admission process. The invoice includes charges for a refundable security deposit (returnable only upon withdrawal), admission fees, tuition fees for one or two months (as chosen), and any other applicable charges. Detailed payment instructions will be provided by the school office. Once this process is completed, the student’s name will be officially registered, and they can begin attending classes.

Admission Process

The admission process begins with registration, which opens in February and continues until the third week of March. Parents or guardians must complete a registration form available at the school’s front office. During registration, a prospectus is provided for further information. The registration fee can be paid at a designated bank or directly at the school’s front office. It’s important to note that registration does not guarantee admission; it simply indicates the intention to seek a place at the school.

After registration, students must take an oral and written admission test to qualify for entry. The test varies by grade level:

  • Playgroup & Nursery: No written test; assessment is conducted through observation.
  • KG & Class I: Oral assessment in English, Urdu, Mathematics, and General Knowledge.
  • Classes II to VIII: Written tests in English, Urdu, Mathematics, and Science.
  • Classes IX & X: Written tests in English, Urdu, Mathematics, Biology, Physics, and Chemistry.

The tests are designed to assess the student’s knowledge and suitability for the class they are applying for. The results are announced on the same day, and passing the test is necessary to proceed to the next step.

Successful candidates and their parents are invited for an interview with the School Head and possibly other staff members. This interview helps assess the student’s readiness and fit for the school community.

Once the student passes the test and interview, parents must submit the admission fee invoice at the school’s front office or a designated bank. This invoice includes charges for a security deposit (refundable at withdrawal), admission fees, and the first month’s tuition. After the payment, the student’s admission is confirmed, and their details are entered into the school’s records.

Parents are provided with details about the school uniform and a list of suppliers. Uniforms must adhere to the school’s design and color specifications, whether obtained from listed suppliers or personal tailors.
